In Year 4 this half-term we have been studying the subject of Africa. We have learned lots of interesting facts through the term and have studied many different countries including South Africa, Kenya, Malawi and Zimbabwe. We have read two stories from the African Tales Collection, ‘Makhosi and the Magic Horns’ and ‘The Great Hunter’ and have had some very healthy debates about whether people should hunt animals, or not! We have also made some African masks and are currently in the process of painting them and making them look decorative.
